Chubby Cheeseburger with Caramelised Onions

Hi guys! We are back after soooooooo long! Here is our all time favourite burger recipe! It's so good with caramelised onions! We really hope you give this recipe a try & love it as much as we did! Happy Sunday, folks!

Prep Time 20 mins
  • This recipe makes 3 burger patties

Ingredients
450g minced beef
Egg
Garlic & Ginger Paste
1 tbsp Black Pepper
4 tbsp Breadcrumbs
3 tbsp Milk (to soak your breadcrumbs)
2 tbsp Sugar
Salt (to taste)
2 Onions
Cooking Oil (to preferred amount)

Meat Marination:
  1. Pour your breadcrumbs in a bowl & add the milk. This will form a thick paste-like mixture.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine mined beef, egg, black pepper, garlic & ginger paste, salt, and the breadcrumb mixture. Mix well by hand.
  3. The mixture will have a sticky and wet consistency.
  4. Gently form the meat mixture into 3 balls, then lightly press down to form the patty.
  5. Make a 1 inch indentation in the centre of each patty with your thumb to prevent the burgers from bulging when grilled.
  6. Heat grill with oil, place the patties 5 to 8 minutes on each side.
  7. Once grilled, place a cheese on top of the patty and let it melt.
Caramelised Onions:
  1. Add in your onions to your grill and stir fry it with the same oil used for the burger (for the flavour to be infused)
  2. Stir to coat the onions with the oil evenly.
  3. Slowly cook the onions on low heat for a good 20 minutes till they become soft, and rich brown in color.
Stack your burger:
  1. Spread butter on your burger buns and toast them.
  2. Top with lettuce, tomato, caramelised onions and the beef patty!
  3. Serve Hot. Your juicy burger awaits you!

Enjoy!

Cocoa Crêpes with Nutella Crumbles

Hi guys! We are back! Today, we prepared Cocoa Crêpes with Nutella Crumbles! We love how the crêpes are so thin and light. They are not difficult to make and the best part is that you can fill it with anything you love! Of course, we couldn't resist the Nutella! Hehe!

  • Servings 8 to 9 Crepes

Ingredients
1 - 1/2 cups  Milk
3 Eggs
3 tbsp Water
2 tbsp Canola Oil
1 - 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 - 1/2 cups All-purpose flour
2 tbsp Sugar
1/4 cup Cocoa Powder
5 Marie Biscuit, pounded to crumbs
Pinch of salt
Strawberries, Raspberries, Blueberries

Batter:
  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, sugar, salt and give it a mix.
  2. Create a well in the centre of the mix, crack in the eggs, add water, canola oil and vanilla extract.
  3. Whisk the mixture together, with your balloon whisk, till no clumps are seen.
  4. Sieve the mixture thoroughly to another bowl to ensure having a smooth batter.
  5. Cling wrap your bowl and refrigerate your batter for 30-45 minutes.
Preparation:
  1. Heat your pan over medium high heat.
  2. Lightly brush your pan with vegetable oil
  3. Scoop 1/4 cup of batter and pour it on the pan
  4. Lift your pan off the heat, and swirl the pan so that the batter evenly and thinly coats the bottom.
  5. Cook for 30 seconds and flip. Cook for another 10 seconds on the other side and remove to a plate.
Filling:

  1. Spread each crêpe with Nutella and biscuit crumbs(we used Marie Biscuit) on one side.
  2. Fold in half, then in fourths, like a napkin.
  3. Garnish with berries (the sourness is a perfect combi with Nutella) and dust powdered sugar.

We were  greatly influenced by our client's love for "modern vintage" style decor. Thus, we created two different door gifts specially customized to their preference.
